Nite Star Grayson

Nite Star Grayson has a great look! His beautiful rose grey fleece is super soft with exceptional fineness, uniformity, and density throughout his blanket. His fleece is huge and makes wonderful yarn. We just got back some from the mill and it worked up so beautifully. He carries a solid body frame and has a handsome compact head style, perfect bite and conformation. He also has Peruvian genetics on both sides of the family tree. Grayson is a sweetheart and loves attention.

His 2023 fleece blanket weighed 4lbs with a total of 7lbs of fleece from him this year! We've sent that beautiful fleece off to the fleece shows so we shall see how he does.

Grayson carries the genetics of his sire the late "Alpine's Carderock" who sadly passed away in October 2020. He is one of the last male off-spring and carries his exception fleece traits. Carderock a 4x Champion/ Reserve Champion. He had extremely fine fleece with amazing staple length. Out of his 1st eight cria only one was not some shade of grey. We were excited to continue the trend with our Grayson and his beautiful coloring.

His mother our own "Gisella" passed along her softness and her large bone structure along to this young male. At only a year old he is so big! We were so pleased to see 2 light silver grey alpacas give us a gorgeous medium rose grey. Gisella won her first Blue Ribbon when she was a juvenile. She has the large bone structure and almost SPOTLESS grey fleece throughout her blanket like her sire, “LaFinca’s Xander Gris”, a MAPACA Champion, and the soft dense fiber of her dam, “Harley Sweet May”. She is a big girl with tons of fleece but very friendly and easy to handle.

Grayson has won blue and red ribbons at shows and we look forward to seeing more to come from this young male. He is available for sale as a junior herdsire for any farm looking to develop their herd specifically for greys.
2023 Nite Star Grayson won a Reserve Championship at the AOA Innovative Fleece Competition. So proud! His fleece is holding true as he ages.
